Ingredients Needed:

Chicken: Opt for boneless, skinless chicken breast for a lean protein boost.

Red Onion: Enhance the flavor profile with the distinct taste of red onion.

Bell Peppers: Choose from a variety of colors for a vibrant fajita experience.

Zucchini: Green zucchini adds a delightful crunch to the mix.

Oil: Avocado oil lends a dose of healthy fats to the dish.

Spices: Create your own fajita seasoning blend or use a store-bought mix for convenience.

Lime: Fresh lime juice elevates the flavors to new heights.

For Serving: Whether you prefer classic tortillas or a lighter bowl option, top it off with guacamole and salsa for a burst of flavor.

How to Make:

In a bowl, toss together the chicken, bell peppers, zucchini, onion, fajita seasoning, and oil until well combined.

Transfer the mixture onto the preheated crisper plate in the air fryer.

Set the Air Fry function to 400°F and cook for 17 minutes, pausing halfway through to stir the chicken and veggies.

Once done, squeeze fresh lime juice over the top and serve on warm tortillas or a bed of quinoa and lettuce, accompanied by salsa, cilantro, and guacamole.

Chicken Breast: Substitute with sirloin steak for a hearty twist.

Zucchini: Swap with your favorite veggies or an extra bell pepper.

Vegetarian Option: Replace chicken with tofu strips for a meat-free alternative.

Gluten-Free Twist: Ensure all ingredients are certified gluten-free if needed.

Spicy Kick: Add chopped jalapeno to dial up the heat.

Cheesy Variation: Sprinkle shredded cheese over the cooked chicken and veggies, then broil for a melty finish.

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Reheat using the reheat function at 400°F for 5 minutes.
