Butter & Olive Oil: Our dynamic duo for searing the chicken, infusing it with richness and aiding in the perfect golden-brown finish.

Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Italian Seasonings, Parsley, Crushed Red Pepper, Salt, and Pepper: The secret to transforming a bland dish into a flavor-packed delight. Don’t shy away from the power of seasonings!

Low Carb Spaghetti Sauce: The unsung hero, often overlooked for its carb content. Seek a marinara sauce without added sugars, and fear not – we’ve compiled a list of options in the recipe notes.

Mozzarella & Parmesan Cheese: The heart and soul of any pizza, creating that irresistible, bubbling layer of gooey goodness.

Pepperoni, Bell Pepper, Onion, and Mushrooms: Our chosen toppings, but feel free to let your creativity shine by swapping or omitting based on your preferences.

How to make:

Step 1: Preparing the Chicken Begin by preheating the oven and cutting the chicken into bite-sized pieces. Toss them in a bowl with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder, ensuring each piece is infused with flavor.

Step 2: Searing the Chicken In a large skillet, melt a harmonious blend of butter and olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken until each side achieves a golden brown perfection, then transfer it to a waiting casserole dish.

Step 3: Layering the Magic Top the seared chicken with a low carb spaghetti sauce, spreading it evenly. Now, generously layer mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Crown this masterpiece with slices of pepperoni, green peppers, mushrooms, and onions.

Step 4: Baking Brilliance Let the magic happen in the oven for 15 minutes, then elevate it to the top shelf for a final broil. Witness the cheese bubbling and turning golden brown – a visual symphony of flavors.

Step 5: The Grand Finale Allow your creation to rest for 5-10 minutes before serving. The spaghetti sauce may seem thin initially, but fear not – it will thicken as it lingers.

Can You Prep Ahead?

Absolutely! Sear the chicken in advance and assemble the layers, refrigerating until ready to bake. A simple yet strategic move for a stress-free mealtime.
